New adventure play area, and revamped skate park, as part of improvements to the community recreation area at Palstone Park.
Design of adventure play area in corner of existing playing field with focus on natural play. Bespoke timber and rope play equipment set on and around grass covered earthworks. Locally sourced materials and expertise, with play equipment designed, constructed and installed by Earth Wrights of (then) nearby Buckfastleigh. Working closely with local steering group to consult local community, gain funding, design and specify, issue tenders and oversee contracts through to completion in 2011.
