Community Orchard and Play Area, Stoke Gabriel, Devon

Redesigned play area and new sculptures set within a historic village orchard. Reflecting elements of the village's history and location. Eden Design worked closely with a small local group to consult the local community, gain local and national funding, design and specify, issue tenders, commission the art works and oversee the contracts through to completion in Autumn 2010.

Devon sculptors Isabel Coulton, Angela Holmes and Sean Hellman were commissioned to create sculptures that reflected the local history. Green oak benches were created by local sculptor Doug King-Smith and members of Stoke Gabriel Community.
