Multi-award winning, eco-friendly spa hotel with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean (scarlethotel.co.uk)
Exterior design included the hotel frontage, enclosed courtyard, roof terrace, extensive green roof, rear terraces incorporating a natural swimming pool, enclosed private Cornish gardens, and a wild coastal garden linking with the existing clifftop footpath.
All aspects of the design were sustainability-driven from materials and production, through delivery and installation, to maintenance and re-use at end of life.
Working alongside architects and lead consultants Harrison Sutton Partnership. Completed 2009.
